Rides based on TAAT trails and tracks

If you make use of any of the information provided through the TAAT website (taat.com.au) or App, in whole or in part, you need to consider the following:

The information provided about trails, and any associated files containing GPS tracks, are provided “as is” and it is your responsibility to evaluate the suitability of any potential ride for your purposes.

The condition of roads can change overnight for any number of reasons (weather, landslides, roadworks) making previously good tracks impassable or dangerous. Roads and tracks may also be closed off by private owners or by government decree.

The information provided about each track is one person’s opinion at a particular point in time. That person may have a very different idea of what constitutes an ‘easy’ ride compared to you.
The bottom line is that it is your responsibility to treat any ride based on any information supplied by third parties through the TAAT website/App in the same way you would treat an exploratory ride in the same area. Ie, with caution, and expecting that conditions are likely to be different to what they were when the track was recorded.

Furthermore, it is important to note that adventure riding can be a potentially dangerous activity, and the information provided on the TAAT website or App does not constitute professional advice or guidance. We strongly recommend that you assess your own level of skill and experience, and exercise caution and appropriate safety measures while using the information provided on our website or App.

In no event will TAAT be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the use of the information provided on our website or App.

By using the information provided by TAAT, you agree to assume all risks associated with adventure riding and hold TAAT and its affiliates harmless from any liability, claim, or demand arising out of your use of the information provided on our website or App.
